Who am I?
I’m Pawan, a senior developer currently working at a cyber security company called Sophos.
I share everything I know about making awesome software through my articles.
I graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2014.
In 2014, I got my first job at Samsung just after college, where I did Android programming, and learnt a ton about writing software at a scale.
After a 2-year stint there, I went ahead and finished my M.S. (Research) in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2018.
In 2018, I joined a startup firm called Eureka AI, which used large scale telco data to bring predicting and analytics abilities in Telco domain. I was one of the core engineering team members, and the first hire in India team. I was a full-stack developer, and built the entire data pipeline from Telco to in-house, and the core platform which could do Lookalike searches on some segment of population, run campaigns, check credit score, and so on. I managed a small engineering team there to deliver a software adhering to the Clean Code policy.
Prior to this, I have also worked for companies like Goldman Sachs and o9 Solutions.
